WELCOME!
With a slight twist to the typical mountain bike race, we’ve decided to focus on one of the most rewarding and annoying aspects of mountain biking; hill climbing. While some of us truly enjoy climbing, most riders only endure hills for the downhill or a future sporting gain. Whether you’re a bit nuts or training for a summer event, the Triple Crown series makes hill climbing more enjoyable by racing with your mates for bragging rights as King of the Hill, and all for a charitable cause.

ROUND 3 - TUOHYS GULLY - Postponed until 2010
Round three will finish off the series with a very challenging effort up Tuohys Gully. The climb will start from the base of the DOC track at the station, carry along the 4x4 track to the top of the saddle, from there riders will continue the climb along the ridgeline to Snow Park.

TREBLE CONE RESULTS
An amazing day in the Alps and a perfect day for a Spring hill climb up the smooth 7km, 1000m TC access road. Gavin Mason exceeded all expectations with a 48:39. Simone Maier takes another title just a minute off Gav's pace coming in at 49:42. The juniors were well represented by Alex Dodds 49:54. Congrats to all of the participants and a great showing with all riders once again exceeding their expected times. For complete results: Round Two Results (PDF)

SNOW FARM RESULTS
A challenging Round One up the Snow Farm road began with a fast and smooth climb up towards the lodge. The smooth road quickly turned to soft dirt followed by deep rutted mud. Wanaka locals' David Drake and Simone Maier won the respective titles of King & Queen of the Hill with a 1:03:10 for Drake and 1:13:43 for Maier. Outstanding times with all riders under two hours. Jo Williams wins the charity category for NZ Breast Cancer Foundation with the closest actual time to expected time. Thank you all for riding and giving to a good cause!!!
